I had a few dates with a friend-of-a-friend a few months ago. Nice guy, tiny spark, but to be honest I just couldn't see the spark getting much bigger, if you follow me, so suggested we just be friends.
Time passes, there's the odd message back and forth and then a message saying he'll be over my way (he's from interstate) over the Easter long-weekend - would I be around? Sure, I said, how 'bout we meet up on Monday?
Next day: no response.
2 days later: no response.
3 days later: no response.
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 days later: no response.
Monday - the day I had suggested we meet up - I finally get a message saying how 'bout we meet up on Tuesday. Wtf?
It took him TEN DAYS to reply!! By that time I was so annoyed, I was actually genuinely busy the next day but would have said I was anyway as I was just so annoyed at the rudeness of it all. HE messaged ME in the first instance. If he really didn't want to see me, why message at all?
Any romantic relationship between us was out of the question months ago, but bloody hell, did he seriously think I was just sitting around with nothing better to do than wait for him to call?
