Date GalPet Peeves for Blokes
In the great Battle of the Sexes, you always hear constant complaints about the other sex. This is further true when you live with a male -be it your father, brother, friend or lover.
My friend Missy, recently moved in with her boyfriend and if we thought she complained about her boyfriend then, well we never hear the end of it now. She always has a complaint about everything he does.
So it got me thinking: what is it that peeves us women off about blokes? After surveying 10 females, both in relationships or happily single.... we put together a little list of pet peeves for blokes!!!
1) The inability to listen effectively or in other terms, blokes have 'selective listenering'
2) Of course, the age old debate of putting the toliet seat down or further to this, missing the bowl all together and either peeing on the seat or the floor
3) Constantly trying to out do the fellow friends - who has the bigger car, who has the newest whiz bang gadget, who can drink more!!! BORING!
4) Blokes who don't tidy up after themselves - there is a towel rack for a reason, we have a dishwasher for dirty dishes and no I am not your maid!!
5) After you get your jollies off, you simply roll over and go to sleep. Selfish ins't it??? We know you need your down time but at least give us something before you retire for the night!
6) Guys who fix themselves in public - yes you know what we mean. We understand that sometimes you are uncomfortable but maybe go to the bathroom to fix yourself - not in front of the relatives at a family BBQ - heck, you'll scare the kids!
7) Guys who think knee socks and sandals are cool. Or even jeans with sneakers! We don't want to date a Jerry Seinfield or even our Grandpas!!! Get with today's fashion boys!
8) Pick up lines - there bad, they don't work and we don't want to hear them. Try be yourself for once and who knows, you might just win that gal!
9) Guys who try too hard - we know when you're trying to impress us and sometimes when you try too hard (like romantic sunsets), we seriously want to vomit. Be yourself, have some fun and really show the gals who you are!
10) Lies - yes, you know when you say you'll call and really you have no intention to. Or when you say you've worked back late but really you've been watching the footy and having beers with the boys! For god sakes - be honest, otherwise you'll get caught and then it really turns nasty!
