Want a Cuddle?


Did you know today was National Cuddle Day!!! Yep - a chance to share the love but unfortunately I don't see much of that going on!

I think personally the hug/ the cuddle is non existent. No one seems to do it anymore - are we all to busy to have a little bit of a cuddle with our loved ones? And by cuddle I mean that - not sex (I know some of you use cuddle as a word for sex!!!)

Think about it though - when you meet up with friends, blokes shake hands, gals to the kiss on the cheek but no cuddle!

If you're in a relationship - do you set aside cuddle time? Do you ever see your friend's and their lovers cuddling? Your parents? I think not! Sure a quick cuddle after sex might happen, but then we usually turn over and go to sleep right?


Where has the cuddle gone? I think we're seriously missing out because they're great - they mean love, affection and it gives you great warmth!

Bring back the cuddle I say!

I agree, I always cuddle my female friends when saying goodbye. Obviously Im not in a relationship at the moment but cuddle time is the best, especially on days like today when its cold and miserable.

Uhm. I'm not really sure. Understand that some things he does will just annoy you and live with it? Because most everything else that makes you happy outweighs that. (I've found that talking through things work wonders. And patience. Lots of it. ) I'm no expert.

Whenever I cuddle a chick, I can't help but say "awww" in a really cynical way. I have no idea why, but I do it almost instinctually. Not that I'm against the cuddle or the hug - I'm a pretty intimate person in that regard. I really don't know why I do it.

you might think its wierd, geeky, nerdy or anything else, but beieve you me, spending so long with a PC intimately delving into its deepest darkest parts (alright, so I program mid level code, not low level), and then connecting said parts to create something so wonderful and beautiful, that actually works (erm, by wonderful and beautiful I mean something that works really) makes you fall in love with the computer.

Its difficult to explain, though it sucks the computer doesn't hug back (not physically atleast)... I think I'll... program it some arms when I finish my degree... yeah, I'll do that...



As for the whole cuddling == sex (two '=' cos thats how the syntax in java and c/c are to check truth statements), guess what? Bilbo Baggand and Frodo are gay lovers. How did they come to this conclusion? I dunno, I mean, maybe they loved each other like brothers, but if they hugged on screen you bet yah everyone would say they are gay lovers.




Oh and one more thing, if anyone thinks I'm just a sad, sad case, well they are wrong, nobody could possibly be as lucky as me, in my line of work (study), I fall in love everyday.

Ash, well if you like it you should look into my line of work (or study as it is now), I gaurantee you it is a roller coaster of emotions.

I did find myself swearing uncontrollably at the computer today... which isn't really like me.

Little brothers give great cuddles, well mine does whenever I see him anyway! All cuddles are good.

There is nothing like a cuddle. My partner and I indulge in a cuddle several times a day as we enjoy the closeness. he loves it when I snuggle up to him while we watch TV or a DVD.

In addition to Ahmed's comment, my baby is just starting to cuddle back and there's nothing like it. You know it comes from unconditional love.

I think in this day and age the female can spoon the male just as much as the male can spoon his female partner. I mean in the long run its all love and affection, and we all need that, so I think who instigates it doesnt really matter.

Thanks guys.... I agree that it should work both ways however - sometimes though it's a bit hard to spoon when the bloke is quite big and muscular.. hard to get your arms around but yes you're right - in this day and time it should be both who take it upon themselves to spoon!

Knocked the nail rigth on the head - it's like the good ole cave man days! Guys like to sleep closest to the door (and sometimes they don't realise why they do it) but it's so they're the protector. Same for spooning! I kind of like it - bit of a turn on!
