I've never been accused of cheating before...
...and now that I have been I can't say I like it very much!
A friend of mine was having coffee with another mutual friend of ours, who admitted she had not been in contact with me for some time as she "wasn't sure what was going on" between me and her boyfriend. Um, excuse me??
I pushed my friend for more details of the conversation and apparently the boy in question and I had been talking for a long time at her birthday dinner. Well, excuse me for finding common ground with your boyfriend and having a good chat! Now, to give you some background to the guy, his previous 'girlfriend' was someone he was sleeping with for a year while she was actually engaged to someone else. Charming, isn't he? He's also already cheated on my friend twice, yet she's still with him. And then she has the gall to think that I could want her boyfriend! No thanks!
Sure, it's not unheard of for people to cheat with their friend's partner. But it is so far from who I am that I'm still not sure whether to laugh or be insulted.
Either way, sometimes people should really look closely at the people that they're with - and they're own natural tendencies - before accusing others of leading them astray.
