It's just SEX right?
A close friend of mine who works in the TV industry, has always been incredibly busy and never had time for a full time relationship. However, he has needs like most of us so therefore he fulfills them at his convienence with obliging companions.
Last night he and I were talking and he asked why was it that women can't have sex like men? Well my first thought is that we have different 'bits' to you blokes - but he actually meant why can't sex just be sex to women? Why is it that women once they have sex become needy and want a relationship?
I disagree with this because as a busy professional also in the entertainment industry, by choice I am single and I don't time for someone else in my life at the moment. However, like my friend I too have needs and when I feel like it, yes I do have sex. And that's all it is. Sex!
Call them f?*# buddies, flings, one night stands - whatever, chicks too have them. And for some of us, we don't feel the need to enter into a relationship because we had sex. It's a need fulfilled and we move on.
Ian Kerner, author of 'Be Honest - You're not that into him either' contends that it is not biologically or emotionally possible that women can have sex like men. He says the problem with sex is that 'one partner (generally the one who shaves often), is akin to mastubation, while for the other it spells the beginning of an emotional connection'.
Furthermore he suggests that when it comes to sex 'men are easily aroused but that does bot make them any less fundementally interested in a romantic or emotionally based loved.'
This is ridiculous - are we still living in the middle ages? Do we still really believe that women aren't just as equally aroused as sex and just want a quickie every now and again and carry on with their lives without the emotional attachement? Of course not - WOMEN CAN HAVE SEX JUST LIKE MEN!
Myreah Moore and Jodie Gould have written a fabulous book called 'Date Like A Man.' It gives women the empowerment and tools to date like men do and to have sex without that need to have an emotional attachement afterwards.
One of the most fabulous techniques in the book is the Pair and Spare Model. Basically it's a bit like two or three timing a guy but it gives you the opportunity to date more than one guy and not be fixated on just one guy. This in turn means:
- You don't stress out when one of them has not called. You have two others interested in you
- You won't ever be left alone on a Saturday night, you have three guys to choose from
- And if you're not really interested in one of them after the first date, ditch them and pick up a spare!
Of course, adapting this model to your life - ALWAYS remember safe sex!
So being one myself and knowing how valuable time is - WOMEN CAN HAVE SEX JUST LIKE MEN!
RIDDLE ME THIS:
CAN A WOMAN REALLY HAVE SEX LIKE A MAN?

Of course there is that double standards that still exist in society, when men have multiple partners they are labelled a stud and well u know the rest...which I think is incredibly unfair on women
Well I think if more women stop worrying what society thinks, be empowered with the fact that sex can just mean sex and nothing more - heck, we might just change that perception!
