Date GalBugga me - What's with some blokes?
Gees you blokes really like to keep us gals guessing don't you? Now I've been in the dating game for a little while now and I hope I know a thing or two (otherwise I wouldn't be dishing out dating advice) but I tell you what.... every now and again you blokes surprise me!
Scenario....
Last night I had my first date with a guy that I met at speed dating. We got along really well when we first met, he was fun and gave off this I'm a bit of a 'let's have an adventure' guy!
Well to my horror - he gasped. Thought it was a crazy idea and couldn't believe I would think of such a thing! What the? Isn't bowling suggesting I'm a fun, easy going, crazy kind of gal?
Okay ladies, you're probably thinking how romantic and that I'm very lucky to meet a guy like this! But here's my thinking:
1) The whole thing was so cliche romantic and so predictable right down to him making his moves on me while sitting at the beach
2) The move to his place - blantant attempt to get me into bed! Especially after we had to watch the DVD in his bedroom on his bed although there was a big screen in the lounge room!
3) He has probably already tried this on another gal and it has probably worked!
4) Finally, after all that effort I very much doubt he will keep it up if anything continues or he won't call me again!
Okay time out - you're probably thinking what the hell is wrong with this chick? Bugga me!!!
- Have women seriously taken the male role and want to come across more casual and fun on first dates than died hard romantics?
- Are men trying to hard to impress or is it just an act and us gals are more clued up these days and can see right through blokes?

Or maybe I am wrong and there are true romantics out there? The question is can us modern day gals stomach the romantic advances?
