Pet Peeves about Chicks
Okay - so the lads got a grillin yesterday about things that get on the nerves of chicks. So it's only fair that I have asked some male associates about the cetain things that annoy them about women.
Yes, the answers are offensive and certainly brutal but hey all is fair in love and war! Here are the top ten:
1) Word twisting - chicks have a very canny ability to twist a man's words. You know the famous line ' do I look fat in this?' Well somehow no matter what the reply is from the man, it is twisted around to sound like he has implied she is fat. Sorry lads - you'll never win that battle!
2) When they tease and don't please - hmmm... admit it girls, we've all done it! We've got a guy all hot and bothered and then bang - nothing! Our bad?
3) Gossip - I guess this something most women are born with. We love to gossip, we love to talk especially about you boys. But maybe it does get a bit much when we forget to draw breath!
4) When a hot chick talks about how unattractive she is - we're all beautiful in the eyes of someone and believe it or not, if a women doesn't think she is attractive, someone else will - it all comes down to self esteem. Got to love yourself first before you can love another!
5) Talking while the sport is on TV - this was a very common one amongst the guys. Apparently they feel it is a conspiracy amongst chicks that we talk or nag them during their sport watching. Why??? Because sport is boring boys!!! he he!
6) Wanting special treatment because they are girls - I defend this one. What's wrong with wanting to be treated decently by a bloke? Or not performing as well at sports as blokes - that's genetics, it's proven we're not as strong as blokes! Sometimes, a gal just wants to be treated like a princess and as long as that same sort of treatment is returned, what's wrong with it?
7) Going to the bathroom in packs - don't even argue with me on this one. It's a done thing, just like you boys getting together to watch the footy. We do it because we like it and it gives us a chance to talk about you wallies!
8) That women think blokes always have to make the first move - I agree here. Times have changed and women are more confident these days. If we want something, we should go after it even after that bloke that you like. He's not going to think you're a big flirt because you kiss him first - rather, I bet you he gets turned on!
9) Women who want to talk after sex - this is on arguement that will never be won. Women want something else after the BIG bang and men want to roll over and go to sleep! Is there really a happy medium?
10) Nagging - blokes had being nagged! It reminds them of their mother's and they don't want to date their mother. Yes sometimes it is hard to not nag especially when the man is being so a twat but heaven forbid a man thinking of his partner as his mother!
RIDDLE ME THIS:
- IS THERE ANY OTHER PET PEEVES ABOUT CHICKS?
- AND CHICKS, DO YOU WANT TO DEFEND ANY OF THESE BRUTAL ATTACKS ON WOMEN? HE HE

Or the one whereby if we make a decision on her behalf we are either wrong because a) she wasn't asked b) we are acting like she can't make a decision herself c) she felt we pushed her into it before she could decide. Well; why ask us if you don't want a decision to be made?
Finally (off the top of my head) things are judged romantic if she says it's so. This even goes as far as to say she does very romantic things for us blokes, but judges whether or not what we do is romantic too, or sufficient in reciprocating romantic acts. Chicks are the legislators of romanticism!
And in conclusion (sorry I thought of another one) the other peeve is to do with gender roles. For some it's considered rude to open a door for a woman (like she needs the help or something), others find it cliche and a turn-off while others think it's fitting that a man ought to do so and some others treat it as a right of being a woman that this occurrence should happen, and frequently.
So yeah.
Yes - us chicks are a bit mixed up and on some points I do agree. We seem to have different rules for different things and occasionally we change these to suit us.
It's one of those mysteries of life that blokes are constantly trying to solve - how to survive in the world with women.
Remember though - you guys aren't perfect either!
