Tips for Successful Speed Dating
Speeding Dating has become so popular in Australia even Grandmas are going along in the search of love.
It is increasingly becoming popular amongst Generation Y: 20 - 30 somethings who want it all and they want it now (i.e. successful careers, money, travel, expensive cars, hot bodies, etc).
While Generation Y gets so caught up in the need to have it all they either forget to date or want the hassle of dating taken out for them.
Introducing Speed Dating - the no fuss event which is organised for you; venue, food, drink and of course 10 - 12 'single' men or women.
However, there are some people who go along to speed dating and say and do all the wrong things and hence end up with no love matches.

TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL SPEED DATING
1. The number one rule when dating, whether it be speed dating or just meeting new people - always be yourself. If you end up dating one of your fellow speed daters and pretend to be someone you're not, you'll eventually be found out and say good bye to any future dates
2. First impressions do count - dress smart and with a bit of character. As much as we try and deny that looks aren't important - they are. So dress to impress
3. One of the worst questions you could ask when speed dating is 'what do you do?' Especially when women ask this, men think that perhaps they're trying to see how much money they make? It doesn't matter - you should be there to find out as much as possible about the other person in 8 mins and money shouldn't really need to come up. A better question is 'so what do you do to keep yourself entertained?' If their job comes up in the answer, great, otherwise move on to more exciting things
4. Alcohol is usually included in most events. A couple of drinks is ok to ease the nerves but drinking excessively will just lead to you making a fool of yourself and not getting any love matches
5. When it comes to your dates - don't be so picky. When you think about it - how much can you know about a person in 8 mins? If there's some sort of great energy or spark, give your date a 'yes' and catch up again for a date and really find out if they're for you
6. Most importantly HAVE FUN! There is not enough fun being had when it comes to dating. Although you may not find love you will meet some amazing new people who perhaps will be new friends.

I thought that Speed Dating was only for desperate people but after attending a few events I reaslied you meet some amazing professional people and you have a great time learning new experiences and making new friends.
