Date GalThe 'I So Shouldn't Have Slept With Him' Moment
Ok... so most of us have probably been with someone that perhaps we shouldn't have, not in the sense they were already hooked up but more that we know that they're not really that great for us and they'll probably break our hearts! Right?
Last night, my friend Lizzy was telling me about a very awkward moment for her at work. A few months ago, she met a very charming fella at a movie premiere. He was in fact a personality for a rival TV station. At the end of the night they swapped digits and planned to meet up again.
A few nights after, he contacted her and invited her over to his house for a drink. She actually thought this TV personality was quite a good catch and was very keen on him, so she decided to go over to his house to get to know him better.
Well getting to know him better may have turned into quite an eventful sleepover. In the morning, everything was fine. They both were happy and made plans to see each other again... or so she thought!
She never heard from the 'bastard' (in her own words) again! Clearly he was a one night stand and just added another notch to his belt. For some weeks, she didn't hear from him nor did she see him at any events until... a few weeks ago he walked into her station! He of course ignored her!
A few days ago, it was announced this TV star was moving TV networks - to Lizzy's network and she would be working quite closely with him! Oh the horror! She immediately went into a frenzy wondering if he would tell anyone or how would she cope him hitting on other girls. She is the last person to bag out another person but how would she warn her work collegues he was a 'man whore '(again, in her own words!)
Classic moment of why did I sleep with him!!! Of course, Lizzy will be fine and it'll probably never be spoken of again... and this TV Cassanova will probably become quite good friends with her! But we've all been there.... those guys or girls that we really should not have sleepovers with!
